African Marble cake ....coffee flavour

Bila nak balik kampong. I will always bake one simple cake for my mom. She loves butter cake. Nowadays, I love to eat butter cake too as I use pure butter to bake.

Adunan ni banyak so , I do in 3 Loyang.


I use coffee emalco. chocolate emalco and plain adunan.
The coffe emalco smells so good. Adunan ni menggunakan 300 g telor so kena timbanglah ya. Lebuh kurang 6 biji telor gred A...kalau lebih buang sikit putih telor tu...

Bila bakar  aromanya sangat wangi...especially the coffee smells.


When I bake marble cake... its alaways like the above photo ....tak stand cantik but the taste is fine and good. Nama ckae ni African marble cake because of the swirl ...but my swirl tak berapa cantik...he..he...he...
 

After the cut....tak boleh tahan bau coffee tu menusuk ke hidung...
Resepi ni sangat senang sebab just mix all kecuali butter cair dan emalco...lepas sebati baru masuk 2 ni...Resepi ni saya dapat dari IG tapi tak ingat siapa punya as I screenshot tak termasuk nama IG but she took it from Roshayati Johari @RNet.



African Marble Cake

Bahan

250 g tepung naik sendiri
200 g gula kastor
300 g telor- timbang tanpa kulit (lebih kurang 6 bj size A...kalau lebih buang sikit putih telor tu )
1 sudu besar ovalette
1 sudu kecil baking powder
2 sudu besar susu pekat
50 g air
175 g butter dicairkan
coklat atau coffee emalco

Cara

- Pukul semua bahan kecuali butter cair dan emulco sehingga pekat dan kuantiti menjadi double.
-Masukkan butter cair dan kacau adunan sebati.
-Bahagikan adunan kepada 2 atau 3 ikut suka. Satu biar warna asal , satu letak coffee emalco dan  satu  letak coklat emalco. Kacau rata.
-Gunakan Loyang 20x20cm. Masukkan adunan berselang seli untuk membentuk jalur/marble effect.
-Pastikan adunan hanya separuh Loyang saja sebab kek akan naik double.
-Bakar dalm ovn 180 c atau ikut kepanasan oven masing masing.
-Bakar selama  45 minit atau sehingga kek masak. Bakar di rak tengah.
-Setelah masak, biarkan 5 minit dalam Loyang lepas tu boleh keluarkan.
